Our ‘life2getha’ mission is to ‘build healthy Kingdom women’. Our
purpose is to provide a safe environment where women can learn, grow,
share, encourage and support each other in their journey.
Our desire is to see each of us:
• Flourish in our friendships with each other
• Flourish in our relationship with God
We believe there is healing in the company of women as we commit to grow
together.
Life2getha Nights
Usually we meet monthly on a Friday night, and celebrate
life together. Here we encourage active involvement of all
Winepress women to contribute their own ideas for to the night.
So far this year we have - would you believe……… decorated and raced
snails, had a ‘smarties’ night, ‘survivor’ and discovered ‘what’s hot
and what’s not’ – in the search of finding God. These nights are a
mixture of fun, food and equipping you with ideas for everyday living.
Girls' Night Out
Events are held 3 times a year, usually on a Wednesday
night.
These are fun evenings designed to help women explore faith and
life2getha (ie, life together).
Each night features a motivational/inspirational speaker, live music and
offers coffee, desserts, friendship and good conversation. Some
nights may also include special performances and expressions in dance,
song, drama, testimonies or other items that will enrich our time
together.
The aim of a Girls' Night Out is to extend the hand of friendship and
encouragement to women in our community.
Cost . . .
There is no cover charge, however, there is an opportunity for you to
make a donation so we can cover our expenses.
Come, join us and experience what God is doing in the lives of many
women in our community. Seize your opportunity; we are just friends you
haven’t met yet!
Every event is open to all women, whether they’re a part of a church or
not.
Childcare is provided on life2getha and Girls’ Nite Out nights and needs
to be booked beforehand on 9796 1006. A gold coin fee is
applicable.
Other
Apart from these evenings, we have many other opportunities to connect
with each other.
• Informally over coffee through our coffee register – if you want to
meet someone new.
• Weekly journaling/prayer times. (Every
Wednesday 9.30am at Winepress)
• Women’s afternoon bible studies. Please phone The Winepress
office for further information on dates and times.
• Community craft group
The opportunities are only limited by our imagination, so COME! Do
